Bangladesh’s health sector is facing multifaceted challenges on its path forward. Yet, there has been notable progress in areas such as access to modern medical services, the use of technology in healthcare, and advancements in pharmaceutical production. However, it is also evident that a large number of patients continue to seek advanced treatment abroad. This not only undermines public confidence in our national healthcare system but also causes significant economic loss for the country.
In this reality, strengthening public-private partnerships to ensure more advanced and reliable healthcare services within the country has become an urgent necessity of our time.
