The full executive committee of the Bangladesh Pharmacists’ Forum (BPF), Northern University Bangladesh Unit, has been officially approved for the upcoming one-year term. The approval was jointly granted by the Central President of Bangladesh Pharmacists’ Forum, Md. Azibur Rahman, and the General Secretary, Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Tanvir.
Ashraf Zahid has been elected as President, while Tarek Rahman has been appointed as General Secretary of the newly formed committee.
The newly formed committee consists of experienced pharmacists, researchers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and talented pharmacy students working in renowned pharmaceutical companies, research organizations, healthcare institutions, and international sectors. The primary objectives of this committee are to enhance professional skills among pharmacy students, develop leadership qualities, expand research activities, promote public health awareness, strengthen social responsibility, and contribute effectively to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.

Event Management Secretaries: Mehendi Rizvi and Mostafizur Rahman Arp.
Social Welfare Secretaries: Naima Akter Toma, Rabeya Akter, Rukaiya Taslim Riza, Rakibul Hasan Hridoy, Anto Pal, Arpita Jahan Shila, Md. Istiaq Rahman Shovon, Cynthia Akter Supti, Laboni Akter and Md. Rakibul Islam.
Sports Secretaries: Md. Omar Faruk Nayeem, Md. Al-Sami, Md. Rakibul Hasan, Md. Tanvir Ahmed, Al Farabi, Imam Hasan, Anik Musulli, Atikur Rahman, Minhajul Islam Rezvi and K.M. Tanvir.
Research and Education Secretaries: Md. Mehedi Hasan, Md. Zakaria Khondokar and Mujahidul Islam Ishan.
During the upcoming year, the committee will organize seminars, workshops, training programs, public awareness campaigns, career development sessions, research activities, sports and cultural events, and various social welfare initiatives.
President Ashraf Zahid stated, “We will sincerely fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to us. Our main goal is to improve the professional standards of pharmacy students and maintain unity among pharmacists.”
General Secretary Tarek Rahman said, “Bangladesh Pharmacists’ Forum is a service-oriented platform. We will work to solve students’ problems and make this unit more dynamic through various educational and professional activities.”
